What are your hours of operation?
Our facility is open from 10am-5:30pm Monday thru Friday. On Saturday we are open from 9am- 2pm. Our gate hours are from 6am to 10pm every day of the year.
We also offer a 24 hour rental station outside the our office where you can rent a space or pay your bill or purchase a lock 24/7

How much space will I need?

What documentation to I need to have in order to rent a space?
When you come in to rent a unit you will need a valid driver’s license or federal ID with a picture. If you plan on using the truck, you will also need to bring proof of current insurance on your vehicle.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. You may pay in our office, by Phone or mail, or at our 24 hour rental station, or online.
Will you send me a monthly statement?
Yes, each customer receives a statement by mail telling them when their rent is due and the amount. Some people choose to have their credit card billed automatically each month to avoid missing a monthly payment.
Do I need insurance?
You may carry your own insurance through your homeowner’s policy. Check to see if you’re already covered. We can also provide you with brochures for two companies that will provide you with content insurance. You may also choose to be self-insured and not use any insurance.
What is the minimum rental commitment?
All of our leases are month to month, so you are never tied down to a long term contract. However if you know that you will be storing for an extended period of time we offer a discount for long-term leases.
Do you offer a truck or trailer to move into my unit?
Yes, All American offers the free use of a 12 foot box truck with an automatic lift to move contents into your space. Want something smaller? We also have for use a pickup or trailer. Be sure and reserve the truck when you rent your space or call ahead to make a reservation to use it. In order to use the truck you will need a valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance. The truck, pickup or trailer can only be used within the city limits of Lubbock.
How are my contents secured?
Each unit is secured with the tenant’s own lock and key. No one has access to your space except for yourself and anyone else that you might designate on the rental agreement. Each tenant will be given a private code to enter the automated front gates to the facility. We also video tape all persons entering and leaving the facility 24 hours a day. In addition, we do security rounds several times a day checking that each locker is secure. We value privacy at All American Storage. Your name and locker number will never be given out to an unauthorized person in person or on the phone. All this being said, everyone stores at their own risk when using self storage. This is typical throughout the industry.
How long will it take to rent a space on move-in day?
The entire process should take less than 15 minutes. If you will be using the truck it will take somewhat longer as you will need to fill out additional paperwork. We know your time is valuable, and we’ll do our very best to get you in and out as quickly as possible.
Do you charge any additional fees other than first month’s rent when you move-in?
We do charge a one-time, refundable deposit on all spaces when you move in. This deposit comes back to you when proper move-out notice is given and you clean out your space when you leave. Many storage facilities charge a non-refundable administration fee to fill out your rental agreement and move you into a space. All American does not do this.
What is your rate guarantee?
Unique to All American Storage, we offer a guarantee that we will not increase your rent for at least two years from the time you sign your rental contract. Some storage facilities offer you low move-in rates only to increase your rent almost immediately. We promise never to do this.
Do you sell packing supplies?
Yes, we sell a full line of boxes and packing supplies.
Will you reward me for sending you new tenants?
Yes, whenever you send us a referral that results in a new rental, we will give you ten dollars towards your next month’s rent. Be sure and print our valuable referral coupon. It entitles not only you to $10 off your first month’s rent but also the person you refer gets the same discount.
Do you ever have auctions?
Occasionally, we are forced to hold storage auctions to vacate non-paying tenants. These auctions are held according to the terms outlined in the rental agreement as governed by the state of Texas. Our auctions are open to the general public. Storage auctions are a great way to buy used merchandise for pennies on the dollar. Storage lockers are open to bidders for viewing one hour before the auction. Each unit is auctioned off as a whole and all contents must be removed by the winning bidder with 24 hours of the auction. Free Truck
Free use of our 12 foot box truck with lift is provided to customers when they rent a space. If you prefer, we also offer use of a pickup truck or trailer.
